Polaris Industries - Belt drive
I have a 2015 Ranger. My 3rd Ranger and my last.
The belt drive Slips and pops and doesn't engage easliy. It had to be replaced the first year. Stay away from them. The other two older models didn't have that problem.
You would think the engineering would get better but evidently not. Honda has one with a real transmission and that may be the way to go. It also sometimes doesn't want to come out of 4 wheel drive.
I was told by a Polaris dealer that the belt problems was a common problem with my model. Polaris should recall all of them and replace the transmission with one that doesn't give any trouble.
Reason of review: Bad quality.
Monetary Loss: $17000.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
Polaris Industries Cons: Buying a product that is not top quality.
